It’s Almost Election Day!

Despite which political party you reside with, we can all agree that this Presidential Election has had its fair share of twists and turns. With that said, Election Day is almost here! It is tomorrow on Tuesday, November 8. If you have not yet cast your vote, or have some questions, please read the following for some useful information.

Where
There are a few different ways to cast your vote for the upcoming election. Some vote by mail, others vote in person, and some people drop off a ballot at their local polling station. Google offers a polling location lookup if you are unsure of where you should go. Simply type in your address and it will bring up the location closest to you.

If you are looking for more information about the voting process or even candidate and ballot measures in your state, a great resource is Vote411.org. Enter your state and it will provide a link that will offer you all the information you are seeking.

How
If you anticipate having difficulty in getting to your local polling station, there is good news for you. Two of the top rideshare companies have promotions that will help you and other voters get there.

Zipcar has a nationwide special promotion, in which they are offering up 7,000 of selected cars for free. The cars can be reserved online or through their mobile app. The offer is good only on Tuesday, November 8th from the hours of 6 pm to 10 pm.

Lyft is offering a 45% discount between the hours of 7 am and 8 pm in honor of the 45^th Presidential Election. These limited discounts are only offered on Tuesday, November 8th and are capped at $10 each. If you are new to Lyft, you can alternately use the code NOVEMBER8TH to get $5 off their first 10 rides.
