San Bernardino County DUI Classes

A Wet Reckless is a driving offense involving alcohol, but this is considered a lesser offense than a DUI. You can be arrested for Wet Reckless with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or less while driving. A conviction of the offense of Wet Reckless requires the 12-hour SB1176 class at the cost of between $300 and $400.

If you are convicted of your first DUI within a 10 year period, and your BAC is between .08 and .15, the judge will likely require that you attend an AB541 First Offenders class. This class consists of a three month, 30 hour curriculum, and will cost approximately $600.

If your conviction involves a BAC above .15 but under .20, you will be likely be required to attend the AB762 First Offenders class. The duration for this class is six months, and you are required to complete a more extensive drug and alcohol education and counseling program. The cost of the AB762 class is between $800 and $900.

If your BAC was over .20 at the time of your arrest, or if you refused to be tested, you will be required to attend the AB1353 nine-month program. This program will cost about $1,200.

If you are convicted for a second DUI in a 10 year period, you are considered multiple offenders. Second-time offenders can expect to attend the 18 months, SB38 class. The cost of this program is between $1,800 and $1,900.

For third offenses, the judge has the option to mandate you to attend third offense DUI classes. Third offense DUI classes extend over a 30 month period and cost the student over $2,000.
