My business career started back when I was about 7 or 8 years old. Like many other kids, it all began with a lemonade stand. My lemonade stand grew into multiple lemonade stands operated by my friends around the city with lemons provided from our very own lemon trees. The lemonade business lasted for about 3 summers, with lemons sales continuing on into my junior high school years. I would go on to sale avocados and other homegrown fruits. The lemonade stands helped me to understand the importance of product quality and customer relationship skills. I am very proud to say that my first job was my very own business.

How I got started in Insurance Industry
I have been working in the insurance industry for about 8 years. My initial insurance experience came by way of Primerica, Inc. Primerica was instrumental in helping me understand the opportunities that the insurance industry had to offer as well as introducing me to the various lines of insurance. At first, I focused my efforts on securing Life & Health policies, but quickly realized I enjoyed the fast-paced personal lines industry instead.

Fresh out of the US Navy, I began working as a policy underwriter and after about 5 months I was recruited to an agent position within a private agency. This allowed me to grow my book of business as well as my brand. I pride myself on being the guy that gets things done. My goal is to personally help every client to the best of my ability, without sacrificing my integrity.

A little bit about me
In my spare time I enjoy playing with my daughter, riding bikes, playing basketball, hiking, and relaxing with my family. I also enjoy reading and listening to anything that deals with history, military, business, and life in general. I am a firm believer that, “if we do not know our history we are doomed to repeat it.”
